In detail: Your adventure begins as our Marsaalamtours representative picks you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam, and you will be escorted to the marina. Once there, you will board the boat, setting sail on an exciting journey to the Dolphin House, also known as “Sha’ab Samadai.” This unique location is a paradise for snorkeling enthusiasts, offering an opportunity to observe dolphins in their natural habitat near the reefs.
Before reaching the site, the snorkeling guide will provide a short briefing about Samadai Reef, also known as the Dolphin House. As you arrive, get ready to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Red Sea and experience the joy of snorkeling with these playful marine mammals.
You’ll have two snorkeling stops around the reefs where the dolphins reside, spending about 45 minutes each time. In between snorkeling sessions, there will be time for rest on the boat, allowing you to enjoy drinks and snacks.
The name “dolphin house” comes from the horseshoe shape of the reef, which provides protection from wind and waves, making it an ideal place for spinner dolphins to rest and play. This unique location offers a chance to observe these beautiful marine creatures as they happily swim and interact with snorkelers and divers for extended periods.
With patience and good fortune, you may even get the opportunity to swim alongside the dolphins as they roam freely in their natural environment. Swimming with these fascinating creatures will reward you with a magical experience that will leave a lasting impression.
After the dolphin encounters, you’ll have another snorkeling session in an area called Shaab Marsa Alam before returning to Marsa Alam harbor. Onboard, a buffet-style lunch and drinks will be served, making this day at the Dolphin House truly special.
